Fellowship Program

Thank you for your interest in our Sports Medicine fellowship program.  Although we are heavily biased toward selecting Family Practice residency graduates we are accredited through the AOA to train and have in the past accepted graduates from OMM, PM & R, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine.  We can train any graduate from all accredited sports medicine fellowship programs from residences who participate in the Conjoint Sports Medicine process.  Please be aware that we currently do not have ACGME accreditation.  It is something we are looking into but can not guarantee it will place during the fellowship year you are applying for.

It is imperative that our fellows have a high level of skill and experience in family medicine in order to function in our fellowship setting.  Our practice consists of 50% family practice and 50% sports medicine, if your training prepares you for this activity it shouldn’t be a major issue for us.

We block off the months of August to November to conduct fellowship interview rotations which typically last one to two weeks.  If after reviewing the information you are interested in applying to our program we will need to receive the application, your most recent CV, a photo of yourself and recommendation letters. We will submit your applications to the Director of our program for review. Once approved, we will contact you to schedule an interview rotation.
