Fitness & Conditioning

SDSMFC trains your everyday athlete. As athletes we mean weekend warrior, housewives, CEOs, and nine to fivers to name a few.

Functional Training
Functional Training is not a fad although it may seem like it.  In today’s training field there are many that claim to be functional.  In order to be truly functional, you must train in a matter that mimics your daily activities or sport.  If you are a marathon runner your training should not look like a power lifters routine.  If your job requires you to be on your feet all day, then you should not be doing exercise while sitting on a machine or lying on your back.

Rehabilitation

We work closely with San Diego Sports Medicine Physical Therapy.  We are a perfect transition for those that want to continue getting stronger once they are done with physical therapy.  We are also here to help those out that do not require physical therapy but do need a stretching and stretching routine in order to avoid injury or recover from one.

Junior athletes
We believe that living a healthy lifestyle begins at a young age and all the children out there today are athletes.  Whether it is running around the neighborhood or participating in youth sports, it is critical that we instill proper exercise technique in our young athletes. Our focus is to teach both proper exercise technique as well as life skills.  We continually emphasize the importance of sportsmanship with teammates and during competition.

Professional Athletes

San Diego Sports Medicine has a long history of working with local Professional Athletes and programs.  Our goal is to help you elevate your physical and mental performance for your specific event.
