Director of Physical Therapy

Chad received his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa in 1991.  He has been practicing physical therapy for 16 years specializing in manual physical therapy and functional exercise.  Prior to joining San Diego Sports Medicine, Chad was a Clinical Director for 11 years in Mission Valley.  Chad and his wife Elizabeth have traveled throughout the world and now reside in Kensington.

Liz Stelter received her Master’s in Physical Therapy in 1992 from the University of Massachusetts.  Living and working in San Diego since then, her specialties include manual orthopedic skills learned through continuing education as well as aquatic therapy, TMJ and women’s health issues.  She enjoys biking, swimming, running, Hawaii and spending time with her husband, her seven year old daughter and four year old son.

Bill has worked in the field of sports medicine since 1980, starting with the San Diego Padres minor league and working with varied teams such as the 1984 Gold Medal Olympic Men’s Volleyball Team, San Diego Sockers, San Diego Gulls, San Diego Spirit and the Oracle-BMW racing team for the Americas Cup Challenge in New Zealand.  Bill has worked with athletes from the high school level through the elite competitive level designing rehab, training and nutrition programs.  Bill has worked with the physicians of San Diego Sports Medicine for many years and now joins our team as a staff therapist.
